Terminal Operations Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Terminal Operations Manager to be responsible for the supervision of employees and managing the day-to-day operations at our refrigerated LP Gas storage terminal, while ensuring compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws, as well as Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include :
- Ensuring that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met at all times while enforcing safe work practices throughout the plant
- Maximizing productivity by managing efficiency and productivity standards
- Overseeing the daily workload, project workforce and material needed for safe operations
- Recruiting and retaining employees who possess knowledge, experience and behavioral skills that will help the plant achieve its optimal performance
- Ensuring all employees receive required training / certifications associated with their job functions
- Acting as liaison between emergency responders, federal, state, county and city agencies
- Assisting the Terminal Manager, coordinating repairs for equipment breakdowns, malfunctions and routine PM's
- Coaching, motivating and energizing team members to achieve maximum potential and optimal safety results
- Monitoring employee performance, implementing individual development plans and activities, initiating and coordinating training and incentive plans, and evaluating employees against clear performance standards and Company policies
- Assisting the Terminal Manager in controlling costs, establishing budgets and LPG inventory
- Overseeing subcontractors and permit requirements

Qualifications include :
Associate's Degree or related work experience5 years' experience as a manager working in the LP-Gas industry or related fieldFamiliar with fuel industry concepts, practices and procedures including related government regulations, attained through a minimum of 5-7 years of related technical and / or management experienceGood understanding of oil and / or LPG bulk storage and related distribution systems (training is provided)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
