WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Warwick, Rhode Island.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at Prestigious Imaging Center in Warwick, RI. New grads are welcome to apply!

Job Function : \n

  • Day Shift.

    • \n

  • 8am - 4 : 30pm.

    • \n

  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering their questions, and providing support.

    • \n

  • Spreading the ultrasound gel on the surface of patients' bodies over the internal area to be imaged.

    • \n

  • Programming and adjusting the scanner for the specific procedure and ensuring the transducer captures images from every angle or section as needed.

    • \n

  • Deciding which still images, or sonograms, to capture and present to the Physician for diagnostic purposes.

    • \n

  • Assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.

    • \n

  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

    • \n

  • 1 year experience as Ultrasound Tech within hospital environment is required.

    • \n

  • BLS from the AHA is required.

    • \n

  • ARRT preferred.

    • \n

  • RVT required within first year of employment.
