Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations & Equipment Coordinator to support day-to-day equipment operations. This role will serve as a key point of contact between our rentals team, mechanics, and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment operations, dispatching, or a mechanical background, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate equipment movement, transfers, and scheduling between locations and customers.
Work closely with the rentals team to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery.
Partner with mechanics at the main campus to review equipment on hand and determine readiness for deployment.
Confirm delivery details with customers, including addresses, scheduling, and payment verification.
Ensure accuracy of customer charges and reconfirm all details prior to delivery.
Handle customer service inquiries, including escalations and service issues, with professionalism.
Take and resolve calls from dissatisfied or frustrated customers, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
Track, update, and document equipment status using internal systems (POR software experience preferred).
Support operations projects, including coordinating logistics and assisting with shop workflow.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in operations, equipment coordination, dispatching, or a mechanical / shop environment preferred.
Knowledge of construction equipment, rentals, or related industry a plus.
Customer service experience, with ability to handle escalated calls professionally.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems; POR software experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
