Mission description

Job Summary : The Repair Technician provides service and repair of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic equipment in accordance with current technical data. It requires technical knowledge, expertise, effective diagnostic, repair and testing techniques related to a wide variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled technician work that involves diagnosis, replacement, cleaning, repair and rebuilding of equipment, components and / or systems.
• Uses diagnostic and test equipment and tools specific to the trade.
• Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.
• Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
• Makes computer entries and completes paperwork maintenance documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
• Follows industry / government guidelines related to safety, health and environmental practices.
• Assists with research and development of new repair capabilities, including reading new manuals and on / off-site training.
• Maintains organized workstation and shopfloor in accordance with 5S standards.
