Business Development Manager (Agronomist) - Mexico

This role / individual must reside in Mexico.

Verdesian Life Sciences has an exciting pipeline of new technologies that need to be commercially developed in Mexico. The Business Development Manager (Agronomist) – Mexico will be responsible for managing product development and sales related activities in the Mexican agricultural market. This individual will be required to travel up to 70% of the time . The incumbent will be responsible for the responsibilities noted below and will report directly to the Managing Director – LATAM.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, industry influencers and key strategic partners.
• Manage market channel development activities and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
• Manage sales forecasting activities and performance goals accordingly.
• Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
• Identify market opportunities for actual products and potential products development.
• Monitor competitor’s products, sales and marketing activities.
• Plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets.
• Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
• Facilitate field development trials within territory with existing and new customers.
• Facilitate product registration processes within territory.
• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products.
• Execute marketing operating budgets.
• Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
• Execute marketing events and promotional activities.
• Assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
• Other duties not listed above as assigned.
