Seeking Nurse Practitioner to join Emergency Medicine team in northeast NY for full-time role.
- 12 hr shifts w / Weekend Needs as Scheduled
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the Emergency Department Physician team.
- Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions.
- Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Prepare patient discharges, including writing prescriptions, discharge summaries, arranging follow-up appointments, and educating patients and their families.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the Emergency Department.
