Position Summary :
The Housing Case Manager position functions as a pivotal link between communityresources and tenants, ensuring the preservation of stable and supportive housing environments. With an emphasis on sustaining tenancy and promoting housing stability, they collaborate closely with residents. This position is responsible for fostering positive relationships and serves as a key advisor, guiding tenants through adherence to disaster response plans and protocols dealing with accidents or health-related issues.

Provide compassionate, day-to-day support to residents by helping keep their lives organized and steady. This includes maintaining individual files for each head of household (HOH), responding to calls and messages, coordinating one-on-one meetings, scheduling appointments, supporting residents with monthly financial plans, and helping them stay on track with their housing stability goals.Create a welcoming, calm, and supportive transition for new move-ins. Ensure their living space is safe and ready, introduce them to staff and neighbors, and gather the information needed to help them feel grounded and connected from day one.Document any resident conduct concerns with care and professionalism, collaborating with counselors and the Housing Program Manager to ensure residents receive the support and guidance they need.Use office equipment and software confidently to stay organized, track communication, and prepare reports that support strong program operations.Encourage residents to meet their household responsibilities, offering coaching, training, and positive reinforcement to help them build skills and confidence.Assist with apartment cleaning and preparation after tenant move-outs, ensuring units are ready for the next individual or family in their recovery journey.Conduct unit and building inspections with attention to detail, identifying needed repairs or work orders to maintain safe, healthy living spaces.Follow all Department of Health and local Health District sanitation standards to protect residents and prevent the spread of illness.Partner with the maintenance team to coordinate major repairs or system upgrades, advocating for the needs and comfort of residents.Hold regular one-on-one meetings with residents to understand what support they need and how you can walk alongside them in their goals.Collaborate closely with counselors to support residents in their recovery, approaching each situation with empathy, respect, and hope.Work with residents to identify meaningful short-term and long-term goals, assess their progress, and help them map out the steps needed to move forward.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferredExperience :
