Job descriptionPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, including crushers, loaders, dump trucks, and conveyor systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Adhere to all safety standards and best practices while working on machinery. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment when required. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for equipment maintenance. Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, preferably within the mining or construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and hand / power tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license; a CDL is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Certification or formal training in heavy equipment repair is a plus. Competitive wages based on experience.
