Hartmann Young has partnered with a leading global provider of science-backed nutraceutical ingredients to identify a Sales Manager to spearhead growth across Germany. This position offers the opportunity to own a strategically important market, develop key customer relationships, and directly impact commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a country-level sales strategy to maximize revenue and market share in Germany.
- Manage, coach, and support one direct report to achieve individual and team targets.
- Drive new business development while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
- Build strong partnerships with distributors, contract manufacturers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, R&D, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that meet business objectives and profitability targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
Demonstrated success in B2B sales within nutraceuticals, ingredients, food, or life sciences.Native or fluent German speaker with strong English communication skills.Proven experience managing a direct report or small team, with a focus on coaching and development.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.Willingness to travel across Germany to meet clients and attend industry events (approx. 50–60%).What’s on Offer
