Cost Analyst

Job Title : Cost Analyst

Location : Houston, TX

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Analyst to support project cost control and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry, and will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project structures in SAP and EcoSys.
• Set up networks and activities to support the requisition process.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Cost Specialists to establish and input initial budgets.
• Review and validate invoices and purchase orders for compliance with cost codes and budget allocations.
• Submit monthly accruals and manage commitments.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
• Facilitate asset registration processes.
• Assist in preparing cost reports and dashboards.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
