Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.Implement and enforce OSHA, state, and local safety regulations.Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety concerns, and develop corrective action plans.Lead and facilitate safety training programs for employees, ensuring they are well-versed in best practices and hazard awareness.Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and documentation.Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and client representatives to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.Manage incident reporting, corrective actions, and safety documentation.Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency response plans.Qualifications & Skills
Required :
At least 1 of the following certifications :Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Associate Safety Professional (ASP)Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)OSHA 30 Hour Training (employer paid if not already held)Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to navigate complex construction sites and effectively interact with workers at all levels.Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, safety management software).Preferred :
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).OSHA 500 / 510 CertificationFirst Aid / CPR certification.Company Benefits :
