Overview
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this individual will manage a team and own the global process for the customer program rebate reserves for Sandisk. This role will include various projects and opportunities to enhance our accounting process to be more efficient and effective. The person in this position will work closely with Revenue Accounting and Reporting teams and business partners from BU Finance, Sales Operations, Claims Settlement and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the calculation and review of program reserves and oversight over the month end close process.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly results of earned rebates for accuracy and completeness and communicate results to the executive leadership team.
- Serve as key contact for internal and external auditors and cross functional teams with questions around our reserves process.
- Review processes on an ongoing basis and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and implement functionality improvements to system reports and processes.
- Lead ERP and enhancement projects for program reserves.
- Approve and review SOX controls and internal and external PBC requests.
- Coach and provide guidance to a team of 3-4 senior analysts.
Qualifications
REQUIRED : Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and revenue roles in high tech or similar industries.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.Preferred
Experience with revenue transactions with distributor and OEM customers within the semiconductor industry is a plus.Experience in SAP and Oracle Cloud environments is a plus.Skills
Advanced Excel skills and analytics aptitude.Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition fundamentals.Additional Information
