Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Stepdown Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift : 3x12 Hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Weekend shifts : 5-6 weekends within a 6-week schedule period. Job Description The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry will provide expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering cardiac and vasoactive drips, and managing pre / post cardiac procedures. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment requiring knowledge of dysrhythmias, rapid response protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Monitor and manage patients with various cardiac diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure and Arrhythmias. Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, as per protocol. Perform sheath pulls and management of access devices including central and peripheral lines. Engage in interdisciplinary support and communication with healthcare teams. Guide emergency responses and enable rapid assessments. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry or related areas (PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown). Required certifications : ACLS, BLS. Proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias and cardiac monitoring. Preferred experience : Charge experience, NIHSS certification. Knowledge of charting systems, preferably Epic. Why ARMStaffing?
