Location : Santa Monica, CA - Hybrid (Monday-Thursday Onsite, Friday Remote)

Job Summary
The Vice President, IT Rights Systems, Sales and Distribution will lead technology strategies for Sales, Distribution, and Rights solutions, with a focus on SAP CRM, rights systems, Salesforce, and cloud platforms. This role oversees system maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and user support, while aligning IT solutions with business processes to ensure scalable, secure, and innovative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Define and execute IT strategies leveraging SAP CRM, rights systems, Salesforce, and cloud platforms to drive business value.
- Digital Transformation : Oversee system integrations and modernization initiatives across Salesforce and rights platforms (SAP IPM, RSG, Rightsline, FilmTrack).
- System Maintenance & Enhancements : Manage upkeep, functionality improvements, and integration projects.
- Software Upgrades & Migrations : Lead platform upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption and maximum value.
- Program & Project Management : Direct large-scale IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- User Support & Training : Implement robust support, training, and helpdesk resources to improve user adoption.
- Business Process Integration : Align IT systems with business workflows, focusing on automation, data integration, and compliance.
- Cloud & Salesforce Oversight : Design and manage scalable, secure cloud architecture and Salesforce deployments integrated with SAP systems.
- Innovation & Automation : Drive adoption of AI and automation to optimize rights management and enhance insights.
- Team Development : Build, mentor, and develop an innovative IT team.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management : Partner with business leaders and manage key technology vendor relationships.
- Compliance & Security : Ensure adherence to industry regulations, internal policies, and cloud security best practices.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience :12+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally in media, entertainment, or related industries.
Expertise in SAP CRM, rights systems, Salesforce, and cloud architecture.Proven track record in software upgrades, migrations, and enterprise system integration.Technical Skills :Advanced knowledge of SAP CRM, rights systems, Salesforce, and cloud computing platforms.
Strong background in system integration, data architecture, cloud security, and project management.Soft Skills :Strategic thinker with tactical execution ability.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to influence and drive change at executive levels.Certifications : Preferred certifications in SAP, rights systems, Salesforce, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS).Other : Must be able to travel for strategic meetings, system rollouts, and vendor engagements.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.Advanced certifications in SAP, Salesforce, or cloud technologies.Prior experience leading IT transformation projects in a global entertainment environment.Benefits
