About the Role :

The Content Platforms Engineering team builds and scales the core infrastructure that powers Tubi’s content lifecycle—from partner onboarding to video delivery. We focus on reliable, performant, and cost‑efficient distributed systems that enable seamless video ingestion, transcoding, and playback.

You’ll join a collaborative team of engineers passionate about video streaming technologies, large‑scale system design, and cross‑functional impact across Tubi’s content pipeline.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office. You must be willing to travel three days a week.

What You’ll Do :

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will :

• Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems supporting content ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Content teams to improve our content pipeline efficiency and streaming quality.
• Take ownership of medium‑to‑large components, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering best practices.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on hands‑on system building and iterative improvement, with growing influence over design and technical direction.

$186,400 - $266,300 USD (High cost labor markets such as Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco; pay range may vary. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus, long‑term incentive plan, and benefits including medical / dental / vision, insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits as per applicable plan documents.)
