Responsibilities

Responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials in the plant.

• Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments
• Assembles finished good orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures
• Prepares skids : straps, stretch wraps, weighs
• Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures
• Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders
• Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials
• Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors
• Restocks corrugated and production's needs
• Works with Production and Customer Service departments
• Assembles loads for other facilities as needed
• Assists in training of new employees
• Supports & complies with safety guidelines

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have experience operating forklifts. Good English writing & speaking skills. Basic math skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Basic computer systems knowledge.
