Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Sparks, NV 89434

Duration: 3 Months (Possible extension)

Main duties of this job include: help clean breakage, break down pallets occasionally, and general warehouse cleaning.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm work schedule (eight-hour shift with a half hour lunch)

Steel toed boots are required High visibility vest & gloves can be provided

Description:

The Day Warehouse Associate is responsible for the operation of power equipment for the purposes of shipping, moving, locating, relocating, stacking, receiving and counting product stock. Responsible for hand-loading or stacking product stock without power equipment when applicable, and any other duties that may be assigned.

• The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to :
• Perform receiving duties. Unload inbound shipments safely and move items to proper storage locations.
• Pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment and/or perform all picking duties in a timely and efficient manner. Hand-load product onto power conveyor in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect and ensure that product being loaded for shipping meets the customers
• Receiving requirements and will transport safely. Restock product to rack, module and bulk locations as instructed by WMS system instructions & procedures.
• All to be performed by the used of power equipment. Recoup damaged/broken product as per SOPs.
• Receive and record return and will call items accurately and timely. Load, unload, move, stack, store and stage products using a forklift, slip sheet machine, order picker, or other power equipment.
• The use of an order picker will require activity of heights up to 25.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and product.
• Actively support & participate in all warehouse safety and safety committee requests.
• Assist when requested, for any and all inventory control requirements (ie: physical inventories, cycle counting, security verifications, etc.).
• Perform any and all other warehouse functions when requested by management.
• Foot Protection is required for this position. Closed-toe shoes or preferably, steel-toe boots are required.
