Public Adjuster / Insurance Adjuster - Remote Work
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Public Adjuster to assist policyholders in evaluating and negotiating insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to advocating on behalf of clients to ensure they receive fair compensation for their losses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage and assess claim validity
- Conduct thorough investigations and documentation of claims, including site inspections and interviews
- Compile and submit comprehensive claim reports and documentation to insurance companies
- Negotiate settlements with insurance company representatives on behalf of policyholders
- Provide expert advice to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they understand their rights and options
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim-related activities
- Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to effectively advocate for clients
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience as an insurance adjuster, with a focus on public adjustingStrong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processesExcellent analytical and investigative skillsStrong negotiation and communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in relevant software and technology toolsPreferred Skills :
Professional certification such as Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPPA) or Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA)Experience in handling large and complex claimsKnowledge of local and international insurance regulations and standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
