Job Title : Application Support Engineer
My client are looking to expand their Application Support team, and would like someone with prior front office experience to provide technical support and engineering functions in support of their proprietary and third party trading systems. This role will be very automation focused so it is required this individual is very technical!
Responsibilities :
- Ensure readiness of the global trading platform for both pre-trading and post-trading activities.
- Monitor and support the entire transaction flow across the trading platform.
- Promptly identify, analyse, and resolve alerts and issues, or escalate them to minimize disruptions in trade flow and prevent outages.
- Collaborate extensively with the trading community, back office operations, brokers, exchanges, development teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Supervise automated processes, scheduled jobs, and routine reports.
- Create tooling and automate processes where necessary to optimise workflows / inefficiencies
- Liaise with Dev and Infrastructure teams to coordinate and participate in software / new version releases.
