The Opportunity

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, analyzing, and evaluating investment opportunities that will enable Postman to accelerate its top line. You will leverage your industry knowledge to identify emerging technologies, assess strategic alignment, and develop insights to support corporate strategy. This role requires a proactive individual who can build strong relationships with the startup and venture capital community, write clear and compelling investment memos, and contribute to the growth of the company through strategic transactions.

What You'll Do

• Sourcing and Identifying Opportunities : Proactively identify, research, and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and investment opportunities in the API space.
• Technology Evaluation : Assess and analyze technologies and product offerings of potential targets to understand their fit within the company's overall strategy. Provide technical insights and competitive intelligence to inform decision-making.
• Investment Memos : Prepare and present detailed investment memos that outline the strategic value, market opportunity, financial considerations, and risks of potential acquisitions or partnerships.
• Networking and Relationship Building : Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the startup and venture capital communities, including potential target companies and industry experts.
• Market Intelligence : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations for corporate development strategy. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.

About You

Preferred Skills

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $155,000 -$185,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
