Responsibilities :
- Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial statements.
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Handle bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support external auditors as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company financial guidelines.
- Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in managing general ledger and preparing journal entries.
- Expertise in account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial data review.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to use accounting software and tools efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
