Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

Oversee payroll operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Lead or support the implementation of new accounting systems, tools, or process improvements.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and external vendors during system implementations.

Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within accounting workflows.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and payroll.

Proven experience with accounting or ERP system implementations

Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Pay Details : $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
