Rural regional hospital is hiring for a BE / BC Pediatrician in Central Eastern Maine on the New Brunswick border. Regional Hospital is a 25 bed acute care serving the needs of approximately 17,000 people in a wide geographic area, bordered by New Brunswick, Canada to the East, and is the largest employer in the area.

• This provider will be joining a Pediatrician and NP.
• The providers typically see 12 to 16 patients daily.
• No weekend clinic hours.
• Historically we have had less than 10 pediatric patients admitted annually and then typically for dehydration or some asthma management.
• The providers also are responsible for the newborn nursery.
• Hospital delivers approximately 110-120 babies annually and Pediatricians only need to be in attendance at delivery for anything high risk or after hour C-Sections to receive the babies.
