Rural regional hospital is hiring for a Outpatient BE / BC Internal Medicine Physician in Central Eastern Maine on the New Brunswick border. Regional Hospital is a 25 bed acute care serving the needs of approximately 17,000 people in a wide geographic area, bordered by New Brunswick, Canada to the East, and is the largest employer in the area.

• Outpatient Internist with no nights, weekends or holidays, nor any admissions.
• This provider will be joining an Internist as well as a PA and NP in this busy practice.
• Typically each provider sees 16 to 20 patients daily.

The Community :

Located on the section of the border that runs vertically between the United States and Canada, Houlton is in Maine s Aroostook County and is set among some of the state and country s most rural, scenic, and rugged landscapes. It s also known for its variety of annual fairs and festivals that draw people from all over the region, and its border location makes day-trips into Canada easy as well.
