Responsibilities
Job Function - Responsible for the daily operation of all accounts (DOT Shuttle Operations) within the respective assigned portfolio. Ensures that all existing accounts operate in accordance with the specific operating plans. Main accountabilities include :
Participate in the supervision of the day-to-day shuttle operations, including scheduling, hiring and training of employees. Ensure all locations are staffed properly within the assigned portfolio, including filling shift vacancies occurring during normal operating hours as a result of employees calling in sick or failing to report as scheduled. Oversee the development of operating plans and budgets per service site. Participate in the development of operational goals and meet requirements for established shuttle schedules, hiring and training per location. Investigate all Smart-Drive alerts and maintain safety / risk scores established for each operation. Monitor financial and operational results and ensure profitability of existing locations. Maintain a close relationship with key clients within the assigned portfolio and maintain business contracts throughout assigned region. Review the results and monitor the response to client and customer satisfaction surveys. Monitor and review the performance of direct reports (and others, as appropriate, in the management structure). Monitor and approve vacation requests by managers and shuttle bus drivers to the extent of allowing vacations only when qualified relief labor can be provided. Ensure that all locations within the Portfolio open and close at the specified times. Ensure the prompt completion of daily paperwork for all locations within the Portfolio. Ensure the prompt referral of problems and complaints that cannot be immediate.
