Power Electronics Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Supply Design Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and validate high-performance power supply systems ranging from 500W to 10kW . This includes AC / DC, DC / DC, and DC / AC converters for a variety of applications in industrial, commercial, or renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) including AC / DC, DC / DC, and DC / AC converters from concept through production.
• Define power architecture, select components, and create schematics for systems ranging from 500W to 10kW .
• Perform simulations, worst-case analysis, and thermal assessments.
• Lead PCB layout design with a focus on power integrity, EMI / EMC compliance, and thermal efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.
• Conduct lab testing and validation : bring-up, debugging, and performance characterization.
• Ensure designs meet safety (UL, CE) and EMI / EMC regulatory standards.
• Support DVT, EVT, and production ramp-up activities.
• Generate and maintain detailed design documentation.
