Role of the Position
This position exists to fulfill the leadership and management functions of coordinating campus recreation memberships and all front desk operations of a comprehensive recreation facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

The department of Campus Recreational Services falls under the Division of Student Affairs the heartbeat of the university the pulse that keeps everything circulating to give our students a rich array of experiences in addition to their formal education. Each unit in Student Affairs plays an important role in developing the different, daring, and diverse student body that has become UNLV's most recognizable trait.

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 9 months undergraduate and / or full time experience in collegiate recreation, athletics, or commercial / city recreation required. Experience with guest services and customer service required. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with membership sales and direct group / individual supervising preferred. RecTrac membership database, marketing, cash handling, and youth camps. Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required within 60 days of employment. All successful candidates will have the ability to assess student needs, value a high degree of student contact, interact effectively with a wide diversity of people, have excellent interpersonal skills, communicate well in verbal and written form, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
