Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Drive the Financial Future of a Growing Leader

Are you a strategic, business-minded CFO ready to take the financial helm of a growing company? At Dayton T. Brown, Inc., we're looking for a visionary financial leader to join our executive team in Bohemia, NY. This is your opportunity to directly impact the success of our three core divisions-Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems-and shape our next phase of growth. The right candidate will be a true partner in our success and have the potential for equity.

Your Impact :

  • Be a Strategic Partner : Work directly with the CEO and President to develop and execute financial strategies that fuel our growth.
  • Lead with Vision : Oversee all financial management, from strategic planning and forecasting to cash flow and risk management.
  • Navigate Complexities : Apply your expertise in government contracting (DCAA) and commercial regulations to ensure flawless compliance and financial health.
  • Build a Team : Lead and mentor our finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For :

  • A strategic CFO or senior financial leader with a proven track record.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; MSc / MBA is a plus.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Strong understanding and experience with government accounting, including DCAA regulations.
  • Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and strategic problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a top secret clearance
