Introduction
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Microsoft Strategic Partner Global Lead to join our Cyber Security Service Line. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft's organization, programs, and processes as well as the ability to maneuver through it to increase awareness, opportunities and deliver desired results. Other background must include a proven track record of developing and driving effective and measurable go to market campaigns to build pipeline and closed opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who also excels in tactical execution. It also demands the ability to collaborate across the complex and matrixed organization of IBMC, demonstrating leadership, steadfast drive and the ability to rapidly develop, oversee and deliver on a comprehensive growth plan for the CSS-IBMC-Microsoft security business.
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Microsoft Cyber Security Strategic Partnership, ensuring core KPIs that include but are not limited to signing and revenue targets are achieved.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the CSS Microsoft security business and expand our Microsoft service offerings.
- Collaborate with Microsoft and CSS offering teams and across IBMC to deliver security solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies.
- Engage in the design of Microsoft security solutions, with a focus on market opportunity and go to market campaigns that ensure CSS return on investment.
- Provide Microsoft security leadership and mentorship within CSS and across IBMC, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in security technologies and the vast solution providers that Microsoft considers competitors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Microsoft, within CSS and across IBMC to enhance service offerings, capabilities and field sales teaming.
- Proactively drive and contribute to the development of Microsoft marketing and sales strategies to promote security services.
This position can be performed anywere in the US.
Required technical and professional expertise
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Liberal Arts, e.g. Psychology or Sociology, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in partner sales and specifically in enterprise solutions, with security solutions being highly desirable. A minimum of 3 years and 5 years preferred experience working with Microsoft.Proven experience in leading and managing complex and multi-faceted partner relationships, and specially with Microsoft.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft ways of working, go to market motions, processes, partner programs and the sales and partner needs specific to Azure and Microsoft 365 and the security products sold via this licensing programs.Strong understanding of GSI best practices and competitive landscape as it pertains to working with Cloud Services Providers and specifically with Microsoft.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Microsoft certifications and / or credentials are strongly preferred.Preferred technical and professional experience
