About the Role :
The Sacramento office of our client is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Associate with 2-6 years of experience in employment litigation. This role involves handling a diverse range of employment litigation matters, with a particular focus on California wage-hour class action claims and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and litigate employment-related claims, including wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery, initial pleadings, and other case-related documentation.
- Prepare and argue motions in state and federal courts.
- Take and defend depositions with confidence and professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team and independently to develop and implement effective case strategies.
- Maintain a high level of client service while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar (required).2-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases.Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record of success in litigation.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.What's in It for You :
