Hours Per Day :

• 12.00 Days Per Week :  3.00 Shift Time :   7p-730a Schedule Notes :
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
• At least 2 years of experience
• Cerner experience required
• Will allow 1 week of RTO
• Must work winter holiday (day and evening) Location :  1101 W University Dr, Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, MIROC001 ROCHESTER, MI 48307 Position Summary :   The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides leadership and direct nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and complex care.
• The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective treatment.
• This position requires advanced critical-thinking skills, patient-centered focus, and the ability to act as a resource for patients and families navigating complex conditions.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience (PCU, Telemetry, or Med-Surg / Stepdown strongly preferred).
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
• Strong clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, and experience creating and following effective care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of complex clinical nursing duties.
• Excellent patient / family communication skills.
• Education
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate degree or diploma).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
