What You'll Do
The Corporate Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Manager will support driving the strategic vision and initiatives of Lake Trust. This role is pivotal in developing and executing corporate strategies that align with Lake Trust's mission and enhance member value. This position will also be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships that contribute to our growth and competitive advantage. This role will collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, assess market trends, develop and execute strategic initiatives and implement solutions that align with Lake Trust's mission and enhance member experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly within the credit union sector.
Support Strategic Planning
Collaborate with leaders to define and refine the Lake Trusts strategic direction and priorities.Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.Participate in the development of the annual strategic plan and long-term vision.Become a key contributor to key subcommittees, such as the Strategic Learning Committee.Manage Strategic Partnerships
Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships that align with the Lake Trusts goals and enhance member offerings.Facilitate negotiations and manage the execution of partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and alignment with our strategic objectives.Monitor and assess the performance of strategic partnerships, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement.Project Leadership
Partner with EPMO and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives and innovation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and effective resource allocation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, timelines, and performance metrics.Performance Measurement
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and innovation efforts.Regularly monitor and report on progress, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with various departments, including finance, marketing, innovation, information services, and member services, to ensure effective implementation of strategies.Facilitate workshops and discussions to promote a culture of strategic thinking across the organization.Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate strategic objectives and innovation initiatives to internal stakeholders, fostering buy-in and collaboration.Build relationships with industry partners, fintech organizations, and other stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities and stay informed about industry best practices.Change Management
Support organizational change initiatives related to strategy and innovation, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the process.Partner with Culture and Engagement to develop training and support resources to equip team members with the skills and knowledge needed to embrace new strategies.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed to effectuate the role.What You'll Bring
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, Innovation Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, innovation management, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.Proven track record of successfully developing and leading strategic initiatives that drive growth and organizational performance.Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and make strategic, data-driven decisions.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic plans that align with an organizations goals and objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and board members.Strong presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and lead workshops.What You'll Get
