Roles and Responsibilities
Baltic Street Wellness Solutions seeks a Regional Manager for their Adult Home Initiative program based in Staten Island. Candidates with mental health lived experience are encouraged to apply.
Facilitate trainings, maintaining departmental filings standards, and making sure staff are progressing towards all proper certificationsAssure staff are working towards goals for Peer Certification(s), and any other webinars or trainings Agency / Division Director sees fitGenerate write-ups when staff aren’t complying within company standardsMaintain / update fire drill log, staff scheduling and staff medical documentationComply with all guidelines to protect participants confidential documentation, maintain Department of Mental Health and Hygiene correspondenceReview, audit, and file participants charts on a monthly to quarterly basis, ensuring staff’s efficiency while upholding filing standardsMaintain fire drill logs, staff scheduling and coverage when staff members are absentDistribute / maintain Metro-Cards, postage stamps, policy / procedure development, petty cash any check requests as neededAttend manager’s meeting twice a month relaying any relevant information to departmental staff membersAlways continue to demonstrate competence in a culturally skilled manner, always looking for opportunities for staff development.Qualifications
High School diploma required.New York State Certified Peer Specialists certification (Active) - or must be Certified within 6 months of hiring.Experience working with individuals that receive behavioral health services.Minimum two years of Management and Leadership Experience.Ability to work as an effective team member is essential.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet navigationKnowledge of government entitlement programs with a minimum of one year of Human Services Experience.Knowledge of AWARDS / Foothold is a plus.Additional Notes
Other duties may be assigned by the agency or Division Director. Ability to conduct community outreach with other non-profit agencies or advocacy groups in the community.We Are a State Mandated Organization, COVID-19 Vaccinations are Required. Selected candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received a booster shot. Baltic Street Wellness Solutions will require selected candidates to submit proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 and having received a booster shot prior to extending a job offer. If a candidate has a qualifying medical condition or religious exemption that contraindicates a COVID-19 vaccination, an exemption form should be requested from Human Resources.
