Responsibilities

M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I - F-16 Flightline APG. General requirements include :

• Conducts daily aircraft launch and recovery operations, End-of-Runway inspections, and aircraft inspections.
• Assists with troubleshooting. Maintains, services, and inspects aircraft, structures, systems, components, and related support equipment.
• Removes, installs, and conducts functional tests of repaired aircraft systems and components.
• May assist in adjusting, aligning, and rigging aircraft systems.
• Inspects and identifies aircraft for corrosion prevention and repair.
• Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required.
• Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads or higher-level technicians as required.
• May be required to aid in writing / initiating engineering technical assistance requests.
• May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management.
• Reviews and completes forms / documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system, and makes entries in logs or electronic equivalents as required.
• Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians.
