The Property Asset Manager reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as a technical advisor on all property management issues. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. The Property Asset Manager is responsible for accountability; tracking, movement & distribution, storage and management & dispositioning of government owned and contractor- distributed property and equipment across the Program. This role mirrors the skills and expertise of the US Army 92A (Automated Logistics Specialist), 920A (Property Accounting Technician) or 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist), ensuring compliance with property accountability standards, effective use of logistics systems, and oversight of staff engaged in supply inventory and asset management functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCSS-Army, The Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), eQuip and a strong background in property book and asset accountability. A proven leader with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Responsibilities

Comply with all Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Inspect property to ensure compliance with safety policies. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate legal documentation.
Maintain 100% accountability of government and contractor-owned property across multiple locations and operational environments. Manage, monitor and track property based on site location, type and usage.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (FAR, DFAR AR 735-5, DoDI 5000.64) and company policies.
Manage an accurate inventory of all property and maintain and update property records. Plan and manage projects.
Oversee property lifecycle management, including acquisition, issue, transfer, maintenance, and disposition.
Act as the Contractors principal Property Management & Key Control representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met. Providing audit-ready documentation for government inspections.
Responsible for allocating, managing and monitoring property staff & resources according to changing needs
Operate and manage property records in GCSS-Army, PIE and e-Quip.
Develop Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) to strengthen accountability practices, and analyze reports for audits, reconciliations, and performance reviews.
Identify problem areas, report issues to Project Manager and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
Supervise, mentor & monitor a team of property staff, providing technical guidance in the use of automated systems for property tracking and compliance requirements.
Control resources. Monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information IAW regulations and policies & SOPs established.
Coordinate with Program Management Office (PMO), subcontractors and government stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Resolve property issues.
