Information Security Risk Analyst

Description

The Information Security Risk Analyst conducts risk assessments, generates risk reporting and metrics, and participates in risk management activities.

This position will be responsible for assessing information security risks and facilitating remediation of identified information security risks.

Conduct information security pre-production and post-production risk assessments for critical assets. Assess administrative, physical and technical safeguards.

Identify and assess regulatory compliance and data protection risks associated with the company’s business initiatives, IT development, and practices.

Manage results of information security risk assessments in RSA Archer to enable tracking and aggregation of identified risks.

Educate IT and business partners on information security risks and possible risk reduction / mitigation strategies. Promote awareness of applicable regulatory requirements, upstream risks and industry best practices.

Advise management of critical issues that may impact customers and / or the company.

Address information security risk management questions for internal and external assessments.

Basic Qualifications :

Education and Experience : Bachelors degree and 2 years or HS / GED and 6 years

Certifications : Security +, GSEC, SSCP, GRCA

Preferred Qualifications : (These are "nice-to-haves," they are not required to be considered for the role)

Education : Bachelors degree in Management or Information Security

Experience : 3 years of related experience

Certifications : CISA, CRISC, CISSP, C)CSSA
