Description :

The position requires a registered nurse with expertise in labor and delivery.

Clinicians must have experience in both labor and post-partum care.

The patient ratio is 1 : 3.

The ideal candidate will possess strong precepting skills.

Familiarity with the Epic charting system is necessary.

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to neonate and adult patients.

Daily census averages 12 patients in the unit.

The unit has 10 beds and is focused on high-risk antepartum patients.

Candidates must be open to working two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Travelers may be expected to float between affiliated facilities.

References covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty are required.

Candidates must include RTO at the time of submission.

All travelers must adhere to communication device policies.

Housing options must be explored prior to the start of the assignment.
