A K-12 school located in Payette, ID, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students' communication development within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to assess and address students' speech and language needs.
- Replace teletherapists by providing direct, in-person therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports complying with educational and healthcare guidelines.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise to student goals.
Qualifications and Skills :
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) is required.Experience working in school settings, healthcare, pediatrics, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) strongly preferred.Ability to effectively manage caseloads and adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a school team.Location :
