Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience are necessary.

Truck Driver

Specific duties include but not limited to :

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle

Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.

Load, unload, and safely transport heavy equipment, construction equipment and materials

Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck, flatbed to prevent damage / injury

Assist in mapping driving routes

Communicate with dispatch as needed

Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip

Check weather conditions and road reports before departure

Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean

Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, notify shop manager for any maintenance or repairs required, etc.)

Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered

Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times

Maintain detailed driving log

Track and report working hours

Adhere to company rules and regulations

Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather / road conditions

Comply with FMCSA / DOT rules and regulations

Must be 21 years of age or older.

A current class A CDL

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Competitive wages $27-$37 per hour to start DOE
