Lead Mammography Technologist Full Time, Days

Location : Downtown Houston, TX

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.5 : 30 p.m.

Salary Range : $104,000 $115,000 USD

About the Opportunity :

Northwest Talent Solutions is recruiting an accomplished Lead Mammography Technologist on behalf of a nationally recognized healthcare organization located in the heart of Houston's medical district. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on clinical excellence with departmental leadership in a patient-centered, high-technology imaging environment.

As the Lead Mammo Tech, you'll guide a skilled team of imaging professionals, oversee daily workflow and quality assurance, and ensure compassionate, accurate diagnostic imaging for patients across a full spectrum of screening and diagnostic mammography services.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead day-to-day operations for mammography services, ensuring imaging quality, compliance, and patient safety.

Perform mammographic examinations and maintain technical proficiency across modalities.

Support and mentor technologists through clinical coaching and performance feedback.

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and administrative leaders to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.

Contribute to departmental quality and performance-improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS or ACLS).

Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT or MRA).

ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications required.

Prior senior or leadership-level mammography experience in an acute-care or outpatient imaging environment.

Strong interpersonal communication, team-building, and mentoring skills.
