Overview
This role focuses on the maintenance, upgrade and configuration of the Epic Hospital Billing / Single Billing Office module for HSS. Configure Resolute Hospital Billing / SBO / Claims and Remittance modules to send claims, process remittances, configure statement build, trigger charges, and work with external collection agencies. Build, test, present to end-users, and migrate builds to production. Serve as a liaison between IT, Patient Accounting, Finance, and collection agencies; analyze workflows and data, and document internal procedures in conjunction with Epic and other applications.
Responsibilities
- Configure, build, test, and maintain the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing / SBO modules; ensure data integrity and alignment with business operations.
- Send claims, process remittances, configure statement builds, trigger charges, and coordinate with external collection agencies.
- Design, build, test, install, and maintain solutions; migrate builds to production and support additional IT initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a liaison among HSS IT, Patient Accounting, Finance, and external vendors; communicate with end-users to tailor systems to organizational needs.
- Analyze workflows, data collection, and reports; document procedures for use with Epic and other applications.
- Lead or participate in project activities; manage issues, plans, and timelines; ensure data integrity across systems.
Qualifications
Years of Experience Required : 3+ years IT implementation and / or support experience; participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle; experience leading a team in a complex, high-paced environment.Years of Experience Preferred : 4+ years.Education and Certifications

Must have experience with charge router, workqueue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates.Strong interpersonal relationship skills; ability to adhere to process standards around documentation and workflow design.Project management skills : lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plans.Desire to expand healthcare IT knowledge; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented; analytical and solution-focused.Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).Additional Information
