Job Description :

The Senior Database Engineer / DBA will be responsible for supporting and coordinating all database activities in a MSSQL Server environment. This includes designing and creating databases, provisioning of roles and users, security and access control, deploying scripts, database optimization, monitoring, backup / recovery, resolving complex user related problems, and monitoring all database related work orders in a timely manner.

Provide database engineering support for large mission-critical systems running Microsoft SQL Server

• Implement high availability, database replication, database sharding and partitioning
• Learn new database technologies as application architecture evolves
• Diagnose and resolve production database and application problems within defined SLAs
• Develop proactive alert and monitoring tools to assist in high performance of large Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Plan and implement database upgrades and migrations as needed.
• Assist internal and external stakeholders in developing high-performing queries and ETL solutions

Familiarity with AWS, on-premises, and Hybrid cloud solutions
