Job Title : Customer Service, Community Engagement Specialist (Bilingual)
Report To : Director of Strategic Asset
Role Profile
SOURCE is looking for a Customer Service, Community Engagement Specialist to join our Customer Success & Product Support team.
The Customer Service Advocate role requires a go getter’ personality, someone who embraces challenges, initiates problem-solving, possesses a high level of attention to detail, and is comfortable with adopting new technologies.
The individual must demonstrate initiative, multitasking abilities, work well under pressure, adaptability to change, and the capability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
In this role, you will :
Be responsible for customer service / order entry processes and community engagement activities. You will be working closely with community groups and homeowners to help SOURCE Global successfully implement the SOURCE Water Program that will provide - at no charge to homeowners - safe drinking water in communities experiencing water quality or drought issues.
This role will include but not be limited to :
- Conduct virtual site surveys for drinking water system suitability assessment / surveys of the homes of community members who sign up to receive systems, including identifying optimal placement of SOURCE’s water-generating panels and dispensers.
- Identify opportunities for potential community outreach efforts.
- Educate potential customers on SOURCE Hydropanels.
- As needed, encourage, and motivate homeowners to accept this donor-funded drinking water system for their homes.
- Schedule appointments for in-person site surveys, taking into account customer location, required travel time, etc.
- Obtain information, such as contact details and referrals, from potential leads for follow-up.
- Meet daily and weekly targets for scheduled / completed site visits.
- Document, track, and follow up with interested homeowners on your caseload.
- Upload new lead information and enter gathered data into SOURCE database.
- Prepare and submit end-of-day reports.
- Enter orders into the ERP system, provide status updates to cross-functional team.
- Monitoring and providing feedback on the customer service and community engagement metrics.

They also will have
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish. (required)
- Outreach and / or face-to-face sales experience preferred.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), along with strong listening, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and positive attitude.
- A self-driven and organized by nature.
- A personable and empathetic personality, capable of building ongoing rapport with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable with technology and phone systems, demonstrating a quick learning ability.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
