As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will engage with people in a professional and approachable manner, supporting access control and other security-related tasks. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service by executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding as needed to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or report any suspicious behavior.Monitor conditions in areas where chemicals and petrochemical products are present, remaining alert to hazards and reporting any concerns.Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records per site requirements.Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to help to deter disruptions and support a secure environment.Minimum Requirements :
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
