What We're Looking For :

Meltwater is in search of a Senior IT Support Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring the world class delivery of IT services to the business. Serving as a member of the IT Service Desk, this position involves providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and recommending efficient solutions while providing a high level of customer service.

What You'll Do :

Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and some network issues.

Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to Meltwaters Information Systems.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT systems administered by the IT Service Desk.

Lead projects and other initiatives as directed by management.

Monitor and maintain security protocols and practices to protect company data and systems.

Collaborate with other IT team members to develop or improve the IT service desks knowledge base as well as IT policies and procedures.

Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance and security.

Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.

What You'll Bring :

Minimum of 7 years in IT support or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and MAC OS support.

Proficiency with Android and iPhone support.

General knowledge of network protocols and services.

Strong knowledge of asset management systems such as JAMF and Intune.

Ability to resolve complex incidents and requests in relation to hardware and software in use by the business.

Familiarity with IT security best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team.

Hourly Rate of $36 -$40.87 USD per year

Total compensation range for this position : $75k-$85k USD per year.
