Structural Engineer

Needed Immediately : Senior Structural Engineer in Tucker, GA. As an EIT, your main responsibilities are to perform design calculations and prepare structural construction documents independently for review by the engineer in responsible

charge.

Required :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Structural emphasis)

Minimum 2 years' experience

Autocad and / or Revit

EIT highly preferred

Roles and Responsibilities :

All responsibilities and expectations from EIT I have been and continue to be met.

Possesses a solid grasp of structural analysis and has experience with most conventional construction types and materials.

Designs an entire structure and demonstrates an understanding of how different components work together to form the structure. This may require assistance from more experienced engineers, but primarily is done independently.

Prepares construction documents utilizing AutoCAD or Revit to be reviewed by the engineer in responsible charge. Comments from the reviewing engineer are mostly questions and appearance driven rather than errors in design or analysis.

Performs tasks of construction administration during and prior to construction including shop drawing review, RFI responses and site visits.

Commits to and achieves deadlines, both internal and external. Shows an increased ability to perform tasks in a shorter amount of time.

Communicates with clients and contractors during all phases of a project and performs site visits independently, keeping the Senior Engineer informed at all times.
