Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA / CMI)
- 3-5 years of S&U tax experience
- Technical sales tax experience in the telecommunications industry
- Ability to establish working relationships with key internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Deadline driven with the highest possible accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Ability to process large amounts of data in Excel
- Familiar with software applications (Oracle, CCH, SQL, SharePoint)
- Ability to perform actions and make decisions with integrity and sound judgment

Telecommunication and / or Software as a Service experienceWhat You Will Be Doing Daily
Prepares audit report findings, outlines discrepancies, and recommends corrective actionResearch assets and locate corresponding purchase invoices using OracleMaintain tax records and information used in tax audits; Reconcile tax returns to payments and payments to GLGather information requested in auditsAssist with special projects and company initiativesResolve tax issues for internal and external clientsExecute on strategic initiatives and have a strong ability to analyze dataSupport exemption certificate requests for purchases made by Cox and affiliatesResearch tax issues using various tools such as CCH, RIA, etc.Collaborate with team members to proactively drive change, including identifying and implementing ideas for process improvement / value-added opportunitiesMonitor changes in regulations and other aspects of tax policyApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
