LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified General Surgery NP in Maryland!

About The Position

We are seeking a Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner for a 43-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This engaging opportunity starts on Oct 1, 2025, and involves 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, covering 4-7 shifts each month. The role demands first assist experience and will utilize the Cerner EMR system to ensure seamless patient care management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide first assist during surgical procedures
  • Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery
  • Ensure documentation and care coordination using the Cerner EMR system
  • Adhere to all surgical protocols and safety standards
  • Participate in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate comprehensive patient care

    • Additional Information

  • Board Certification in General Surgery required
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland
  • Experience with the Cerner EMR system preferred
