Key Responsibilities :

Take the lead in shaping the electrical design and engineering aspects of exciting projects in battery storage, solar, and renewables.

Ensure that your work aligns with all relevant codes and standards.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to craft detailed project specifications, plans, and timelines that reflect diverse perspectives and experiences, setting the stage for success.
• Leverage your skills in PV Case and ETAP software to model and analyze electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our projects.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies, technical assessments, and energy performance analyses with an inclusive mindset to drive informed project development decisions.
• Provide valuable technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment that celebrates diversity.
• Lead and actively participate in engineering reviews and inspections to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes that consider a wide range of perspectives.
• Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in battery, solar, and renewables, with a focus on inclusivity.
• Evaluate and select the most suitable electrical components and equipment for projects, considering both cost-effectiveness and performance, while promoting diversity in decision-making processes.

Qualifications :

• Do you hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering? A Master's degree is even better!
• A CA Electrical Professional Engineer License is a must.
• Bring 5 or more years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on battery storage, solar, or renewables projects.
• Showcase your proficiency in PV Case and ETAP software for electrical system design and analysis.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of local and national electrical codes and standards with an appreciation for diversity.
• Flex your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Highlight your effective communication and teamwork abilities, emphasizing collaboration across diverse backgrounds.
• Any project management experience you bring to the table is a definite plus.
• Knowledge of sustainable energy practices and renewable energy technologies is highly valued, with a commitment to inclusivity.

Compensation :

Salary : $130-140k per year, with full suite of benefits (medical, vision, dental etc.)
