What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of the unique needs of a healthcare location.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management to help to maintain a controlled environment within the healthcare setting.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as required.Maintain a visible presence and interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to help to foster a welcoming and secure atmosphere.Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols for armed security-related duties, including proper handling and storage of firearms.What We're Looking For :

Must possess an armed guard card or license.Must be at least 21 years of age.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Handcuffing certification is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
